Picasso's Guernica is the perfect tool for teaching animal noises. It
probably had other significances as well. This poster and the
onomatopoeia alphabet (see left) are also part of my Art and Grammar
series. Poster size = 24" x 18", printed on 100# glossy paper.
This was my first poster, the ABCs of Art. I drew each
letter of the alphabet in the style of a famous artist
whose last name begins with the corresponding letter
( L is for Lichtenstein, W is for Warhol, etc.). Here is a
full list and description of the inspiring artists. Poster
size = 24" x 36", printed on 100# glossy paper.
These are my counting monsters. Each number
corresponds with the number of eyes on the
monster. Poster size = 18" x 24", printed on 100#
This is an alphabet of onomatopoeia (B is for Bam!, P is
for Pow!, etc.). Poster size = 24" x 36", printed on 100#
This is an alphabet of abstract nouns, the newest
addition to my Art and Grammar series. An
abstract noun is a noun that cannot be perceived
with the fives senses (i.e. anger, hostility,
tranquility), so by definition I should not be able to
illustrate it. Poster size = 24" x 36", printed on
100# glossy paper.
