Welcome
Could you use the help of a passionate, highly qualified, multi-award winning winemaker with exemplary
attention to detail and outstanding credentials to significantly impove the quality of your red wines? I am now
offering an extensive range of both vintage and non-vintage winemaking consulting services, adopting a hands-
on approach with my clients and working together with them to make the best possible wines.
Based in the Barossa Valley, I predominantly offer services locally, to small and medium sized wineries in the
Barossa Valley and Eden Valley. Consulting services may also be available for wineries located in the Central
South Australian wine regions incorporating the Clare Valley, Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek
by negotiation. I currently offer either an ongoing consulting relationship covering the entire winemaking process
or am alternately available on a single project basis, for example a one time blending session.
My specialty is working with red wines, however I also offer general winemaking consulting and advice. All
aspects of winemaking consulting are offered, from the grape to the bottle, including
•vintage planning
•grape evaluation and harvest determination
•crushing, pressing and fermentation consultation
•stabilisation and optimisation of wine
•blending
•maturation and barrel assessment
•preparation of wines for bottling
•record-keeping and systems consultation
•Label Integrity Program advice
