Sign-ups

The Lady Rebels Organization is for girl’s grades 6 through 11 who are interested in
playing basketball. We welcome serious active players from Rome and surrounding
areas. Our travel AAU Basketball program grows out of the community of which it is a
part. As with any program directed to young people, its primary goal is to contribute to
their development as people, not just as athletes. Only a few of our players will reach the
highest levels in the sport, but all of them can grow up to be terrific individuals.
We want our program to be "serious fun" - something to work hard at, try and excel at,
and have fun with. We want our players to display good sportsmanship and to accept
responsibility for their performance, win or lose. We hope that our players will want to
continue playing by the time they reach high school, and that our program will help them
learn the skills they need to do that. We would also like to win our share of games. This
requires commitment, focus and punctuality from coaches, players and parents.

2012 Rome Lady Rebel's Season

Late registration is January 18, 2011. 5:30p-7:30p at STROUGH (Front Lobby).

Payment of $200.00 due at registration date (Registration fee and membership fee).

New players are responsible for half ($50.00) of a two piece uniform, (orange & white)
the association puts in the difference. Due at registration.

Participation in Bottle and Can Drive or buyout at $50.00.

We will be traveling to 5 tournaments (including Shamrock Shootout)as an association
whenever possible.

Our Coaches for the 2012 seasons are:
Michael Luce, Dennis Luce, Craig Anken, Christina Steurrys, Jason Rutherford, and
Rick Leos

Possible tournaments:
Utica, Binghamton , Waterloo, Lake George, Ithaca, Albany and Shamrock Shootout.

The Rome Lady Rebels Association is proud to offer two scholarships available for this
season as well as a senior scholarship for those girls that plan on attending college.
