Welcome to the Rome Lady Rebels Website!! The Rebels are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit entity fielding 6 teams ranging from 6th grade to 11th grade. We are an AAU sanctioned program, competing in a number of tournaments annually. We stress fundamentals, teamwork, and character: family first, school second, Rebels third. Our local program was started by several area coaches and parents seeking competitive girls basketball beyond the local area school teams. Those instrumental in forming the Lady Rebels include Karen Gaesser, Tim Birnie, Jan Norelli, and Patty Chlebus.
