Fuerst Blue ~  2004 16.0h branded Oldenburg m. by Fuerst Gotthard, dappled grey

"Bria" is a truly gorgeous dappled grey mare with a beautiful, classic hunter look.  This stunning girl is by
the famous grand prix show jumper Fuerst Gotthard who is now retired from breeding.  He is well known for
producing wonderful temperaments, good looks, and outstanding athletic ability, and Bria seems to have
taken after him very closely!  She is not only very easy on the eyes, but is a good mover and great natural
jumper with a super easy lead change, and loves the loose rein ride.  The best part of all though is that
she's kicking quiet and
easy easy easy!!!  She is rhythmic and brave but quiet to the fences and is very
forgiving, takes a joke!  Bria has shown locally in the 2'6" hunters with great ribbons and is still eligible
green.  She has plenty of step and walks the lines, and has the scope to move up easily to the 3' divisions.
She will make an excellent junior or amateur's horse due to her honest attitude, safe and quiet disposition,
and would be a great move-up from a pony.  We have recently sent Bria for some additional education with
a dressage trainer, and she is proving to be extremely talented in this area as well!  She'll be attending her
first dressage show soon.  What an excellent, well rounded individual.  Continue her dressage career or
take her back to the hunter ring.  She is conformationally correct with great feet and clean legs, and has
good ground manners and no vices.  In addition to being a wonderful riding horse, she has also produced
one lovely foal, and is subsequently approved in the Main Mare Book of the Oldenburg NA, so is well
prepared for a future broodmare career upon retirement from the show ring.  Price may increase with
additional training, experience and show mileage, so get her now!
Sensation ~  1996 16.2h reg. Thoroughbred g. by Two Punch, fleabitten grey

"Toby" is that special kind that we look long and hard for but is so darn hard to find!  We feel lucky to be
able to offer a horse of this caliber to our clients (we'd actually like to keep him!) and kindly thank his
previous owner for the chance.  This big, attractive gelding has literally been there, done that, and is the
true meaning of the term.  He has an extensive and impressive record to show for his career in both the
older Adult Amateurs and younger Children's Hunters with prestigious wins and good ribbons at such
shows as the Hampton Classic, Middleburg Classic, Lexington Spring Premiere and Encore, Pennsylvania
National, Washington International, Rosemount, Upperville, Loudoun, Keswick, Commonwealth National,
and the Ocala Winter Festival and Littlewood in FL.  His USEF record is 27 pages long!!  He is a wonderful,
wonderful guy and fabulous teacher.  Toby is a very good mover that has won plenty of illustrious hacks in
his day, and he has a classic jump, a huge step, and a perfect, easy lead change.  He is that made type
that all you need to do is just sit there and let him do his job that he knows so well, and he'll pack you
around.  He is quiet and uncomplicated, fun to ride, goes in a french link snaffle, and is willing and
responsive to the aids.  He needs no lunge, no prep, and he's fit and ready to walk in the show ring
tomorrow and win for a junior or ammy.  He's easy around the barn with perfect manners, loves to ride
around bareback, and trail rides as well.  Though he is a little older, he is very sound with no issues and
minimal maintenance, and this is the only reason he is even affordable now.  Digital xrays are available.  He
was easily a six-figure horse in his heyday, so don't lose this opportunity to have this gem, such an
awesome teacher and confidence builder!  He is located with Chad Keenum (301-512-4383) with several of
our others, for ease in trying given the terrible weather we've had this winter.  This is seriously one you
don't want to miss out on.
Acclaimed ~  2003 16.0h Zweibrucker m. by Claim to Fame out of Hallmark mare, true black

Onyx is really just absolutely gorgeous, with one of the best heads you've ever seen on a horse - huge
eyes, small ears and a petite, dished face which compliments a long, curvy neck and a round, plump figure
that is extremely eye catching - and all in a solid pitch black shiny package!  Onyx has shown both on the
line and under saddle successfully.  She is a darling mover and has very cute form over the fences.  She
has shown in the Baby and Pre-Greens and will make an excellent junior or amateur's horse.  She is
ultra-safe, no buck or funny business, and you can pull her out of a field after months off (this winter was
so bad, there were weeks/months we could not ride) and she needs no lunge and is very quiet and easy.
Onyx does prefer a rider who is very soft and quiet as most mares do, and tends to get intimidated by an
aggressive rider.  She goes in a rubber dog bone snaffle which has no metal in it and is basically hardly a
bit.  I would trust her in this bit even riding out cross country, she is just that sweet and honest.  She is one
of those that just gives you a safe feeling when you sit on them.  Onyx has had some basic dressage
schooling and is light to the aids, supple, and very willing to please.  She has a good lead change as well.
She has no vices or soundness issues and no special needs.  When you come see her, you won't be able
to take your eyes off of her, promise! :)  Due to our harsh winter, we were not able to ride much at all, so
she is not fully in shape yet.  Therefore we have priced her VERY conservatively for the time being!

On the Rocks ~  2005 16.1h TB g. by Grindstone out of Adriatic Princess, bay w/ star

"Andre" is a very handsome, fancy gelding with the classic, elegant show hunter look about him.  He has a
beautiful head, big kind eye and small ears, along with a pleasing, round topline.  He is a very good mover
who has been the local hack winner consistently, and a stylish, scopey jumper with a good lead change.
He is particularly easy and quiet, and has quite a few successful show miles even at his relatively young
age!  So far he has shown well in the hunters, jumpers and also done horse trials!  He is extremely
versatile!  He has been champion almost every time out.  With a big step and plenty of ability, Andre will
easily do the 3' and is a potential 3'6" prospect.  He is still eligible Green.  Andre is great out on trails and
also may turn out to be a nice, fancy hunt horse!  Due to his quiet temperament he might be a super fun
Pony Club mount as well.  He has the looks, talent and mind to do well in almost any discipline.  He is
uncomplicated and quiet to ride and is well-suited for a junior or amateur to finish.  He is currently fit and
ready to pick up the show season with his new partner.  He is safe and kind and has no vices, is clean
legged, sound, and has no issues.  Loads and travels well and has excellent barn manners.  He is a joy to
have around and to own.

Slap Happy ~  2002 15.2h reg. TB g., bay w/ star and two socks

"Slim", as we call him, is a handsome, classy looking, TB gelding who is a very good mover and stylish
jumper with lots of scope and great form!  He has a good lead change and has miles in the 3' Jumpers.
Slim will always do well in the hacks since he is such a nice mover.  He is easy to ride and safe, though he
is not lazy and does go forward, however harmlessly, so is better suited for someone who is comfortable
with this type of ride and doesn't want to kick all the time.  He has a big step, no quit and will jump anything
willingly!  Slim has good manners around the barn, is easy to handle for clipping, bathing, loading, etc, and
has no vices or issues.  He's been around the block so he has a seasoned attitude about things.  Ready
for a Jr or Ammy to have fun with in the jumpers, hunters, eventing, Pony Club or even in the hunt field
perhaps!  He is currently ridden by juniors and is versatile and ready to continue in any direction.  A nice
horse for someone looking for fun and the opportunity to do some winning but without a huge budget!
Price flexible for speedy sale as trainer is moving barns and must downsize tremendously and quickly.  He
is currently in professional training with Chad Keenum in The Plains, VA, and further info and/or an
appointment to try him may be made by calling direct at 301-512-4383 or email at cskeenum@aol.com .

Romance ~  2003 16.2h reg. Warmblood g. by Romantic Star out of TB mare, bay with star, 2 socks

"Romance" is an extremely attractive, fancy 7 yo gelding by the famous Romantic Star, and he is the
spitting image of him!  Elegant, classy and beautifully dappled, this big, gorgeous boy gets noticed quickly
and totally screams AA show hunter in every way.  He is a lovely mover with a big, rhythmical canter and an
especially good and easy lead change!  Romance already has mileage in the Baby Greens and is jumping
around 2'9-3' and ready to move up, and he is still eligible Green.  He has excellent form over fences and
is very brave to the jumps.  His wonderful temperament makes him well suited for a junior or amateur to
finish, and he will make up to be a fabulous Children's/Adult Hunter, possibly with the potential to move up
to the A/O's and Juniors.  Romance is a great traveler, easy around the barn and has no vices or issues.
He is sound, safe and sane.  Just a wonderful guy whose well-rounded talents would also lend him to other
disciplines of one's choosing.  He comes to us straight from his breeder, so his entire history is known.  He
is in professional training and available to be seen at Chad Keenum's in The Plains, VA.  Inquiries may be
made directly to 301-512-4383 or cskeenum@aol.com.  As usual, quick business is subject to discount.
Grace RSH ~  2007 16h Oldenburg/ISR m. by Golfball, bay with no white

"Lou Lou" is our second "Gracie" and another pretty plain bay mare, also just turning 4 yrs old, but in a
bigger package!  She is a total sweetheart and very elegant with a classic hunter look about her.  She now
has about 90 days under saddle in professional training and is going w/t/c.  She is a very appealing mover
with a big, balanced canter.  She will make a great prospect for a junior or amateur to bring along for the 3'
divisions and possibly more!  She might even measure a Small Junior.  Lou Lou has no vices, has always
been healthy and sound, and has absolutely no marish attitude.  She trailers like a pro, will stand patiently
on the trailer or crossties for hours, and is great around the barn.  Lou Lou has a certificate of pedigree
with Oldenburg/ISR.  Keep checking for updates as we'll have pictures and video soon, as well as lots more
to report. She'll be in a program with a professional from now on, so price will increase with training
progression.  Discount available for quick business to a good home.
Bridesmaid ~  2006 16.1h Hanoverian EMC m. by Glorioso Noir, chestnut with star & socks

"Goldie" is all your could ask for, and then some! With the best attitude & disposition in the world, all the
beauty, all the jumping style, all the movement - she is a TOP candidate for either the hunters or the
dressage arena.  Goldie is well rounded and has the quiet athleticism needed to make the perfect
amateur's or junior's mount and is a delight to ride and be around.  This branded, star quality young
Hanoverian mare is bred to jump, and she shows off her outstanding talent both in the chute and under
saddle, with fantastic form and technique that will draw all eyes in the ring. She is so easy to ride, so quiet
and extremely willing and trainable.  The word "no" is just not in her vocabulary!  She has easy lead
changes and is brave and quiet to the jumps.  Goldie will hack on the buckle and looks like the perfect
show hunter, but lurking beneath is also a very well schooled dressage horse, which makes her a pleasure
to ride.  She has lots of show mileage in Florida and has done very well in the USDF Young Dressage
Horse classes with qualifying scores up to 7.42.  She is ready to go in either direction; continue her
established dressage career or make her name in the hunter ring.  Importantly, it should be noted that
Goldie is also an Elite Mare Candidate for the American Hanoverian Society - she is performance tested
with great scores, and needs only to produce a foal to obtain her coveted Elite status.  Her high free
jumping scores also earned her entry into the Jumper Breeding Program, which is a rare achievement.
This makes her an extremely valuable broodmare prospect as well, and provides quite a safety net for the
future.  We would love to keep her as an asset our breeding program, but she has far too much potential
for that right now.  She is sound with no vices, fantastic manners, easy in every way.  She is truly quite a
find!  Goldie is in professional training and can be seen at Chad Keenum's farm in The Plains, VA.

Wild Chance ~  1996 16h Oldenburg m. by West Coast, black with no white

"Chance" is a beautiful, elegant black 16h registered/branded Oldenburg mare who is the perfect
schoolmaster/confidence builder dressage mount for any rider, but is most valuable for an older or timid
rider due to her fantastic temperament and rideability.  Chance is a solid citizen at 3rd level and schools
many 4th level movements, with many shows under her belt.  Extremely soft, round and light with lots of self
carriage and balance, natural engagement, and is supple and sensitive to aids and forward but in the
correct way, and is very apparently meticulously trained.  Exceptional lateral work, counter canter,
schooling half pirouettes and lead changes.  All the buttons are there!  She is a truly lovely mover with a
medium amount of suspension that will be easy to sit for more of a novice rider or also someone with back
or knee trouble.  She hacks on the buckle too and is just extremely nice to ride all around.  Actually she
might do quite well in the hunter ring as well since she also jumps fabulously!  This is a very hard to find
sort who is ready to show someone the ropes and have fun!  Safe, sane, quiet.  Just a total gem who is
also perfect around the barn, for shipping/farrier, etc and no vices.  While she is a bit older, she is
incredibly sound even barefoot, feels very youthful under saddle and has no maintenance needs/no
supplements and no issues at all.  Just needs a little bit of conditioning/fitness but she is ready to go.  No
marishness in the barn or under tack.  She will also make a fantastic broodmare for someone's program
given all of her wonderful qualities of temperament, soundness, movement, looks and attitude. She is
already approved in the Main Mare Book for Oldenburg NA.  Priced EXTREMELY conservatively and great
home is important for this sweetheart of a mare.
Grenadine ~  2007 ~15.2h Oldenburg NA m. by Genuine/Gragenit out of TB mare, bay with no white

"Gracie" is an incredibly darling, extremely pretty and wonderfully laid-back 5 year old Oldenburg mare by
the up and coming Oldenburg stallion, Genuine, by Gragenit. Gracie has many admirable qualities, but
perhaps the best one is a sterling disposition, about the best you could ever ask for! On top of that, she is
very classy and fancy to look at and has a beautiful dished face and big, kind eyes. She has excellent legs
and well matched feet, and moves straight and correctly. Her adorable movement always earns her a great
hack ribbon and she has excellent form over fences! Gracie has been invaluable for young riders from
short stirrup up through 2'6", and is a superstar in the Hunter Pleasure divisions also, as she loves to poke
her nose out and hack on the buckle. She swept the division at her first show, and has always pinned well
at every show she's been to. Judges always love her relaxed and pleasant way of going and just can't
overlook her adorable movement. Never in a hurry, she's more of a kick ride and is simple and
uncomplicated and very honest. She gives the rider a safe and comfortable feeling, so would be ideal for
someone a bit more timid or who needs some confidence. Gracie is the perfect move up for a child coming
off a pony, but also is big bodied enough to take up the leg of a taller rider. We purchased Gracie at 8
months old, and she was raised with love and started correctly at 3 years old, and has now been in a
program for almost two years. She has been used in lessons for riders of all ages and abilities, trail ridden
quite a bit and has been to several shows. She always keeps her cool no matter what the environment, and
tries her best to please. Her super disposition makes her lovely to be around with a consistently pleasant
attitude. There is no funny business to be found with her, and she's very serious about her job. She will
jump around anything from crossrails to 2'6", is brave to the jumps, and has a great lead change. Gracie is
more than ready to move up, but has not been pushed, and it shows in her quiet confidence. She is a great
candidate for the Small Hunter, Pre / Children's, or Amateur Divisions, but will even pack Short Stirrup kids!
Though she is smaller in stature, her ample step and athleticism allows her to move up to the reals and
make the distances without rushing and she consistently pins well in hack classes, too. While she is perfect
for the hunter ring, she could also foray into lower level dressage or would be awesome for Pony Club or
eventing given her stellar temperament! Price may be flexible to great home and uncomplicated quick sale.

Perlenkette ~  2009 16.1h reg. Warmblood m. by Peron, bay with star and sock

"Polly" is a very fancy, elegant coming 4 yo filly by the incomparable Peron, who represented the USA
through his participation in the 1996 Olympic Games and was part of the US Bronze Medal winning team!
Sadly, he passed away in an untimely fashion at only 15 years of age in 1999.  Therefore, there are also
very few Peron offspring still available.
Through the marvelous technology of frozen semen, this wonderful
filly is here for us today out of a top Trakehner mare, and the quality is evident in her modern type, quiet
athleticism and jewel-like disposition.  "Polly" is a FANTASTIC mover, a real head turner, and will get a top
hack ribbon in most any company.  She has a saintly disposition and enjoys taking care of her rider.  This
makes her ideally suited  for a young junior or timid amateur!  She has approx. 120 days under saddle now
and is currently jumping around small courses with style and has a very easy lead change.  Polly goes
quietly and softly in a simple snaffle and is a joy to ride and handle.  She has lovely manners around the
barn and no vices or issues.  Her 3 older full siblings, including a stallion brother, have competed to high
levels of dressage!  She will make an excellent Children's or Adult horse or quite possibly more, or could
also head to the dressage ring where her lines are very proven to be full of talent and success.  Either way,
her sterling temperament will allow her to succeed in most any area of one's choosing.  Polly is located at
Chad Keenum's barn in The Plains, VA, and is available to be seen readily by appointment.  Call
301-512-4383 or email cskeenum@aol.com for direct contact, or as always we are happy to provide all
details as well.  Discount offered for quick business.  Video shows her in heavy steel shoes.

Celebrity Gossip ~  2009 16.2h reg. Zweibrucker (RPSI) g. by Claim to Fame, bay/white tobiano

"Cappy" is one of our homebreds whom you may recognize from our Young Prospects page.  He is an
extremely nice, tall and good looking gelding with all the assets to become someone's best friend and
successful show partner!  He moves super well, very flat kneed with a really super, big, balanced canter
and natural lead changes.  He had 60 days with a professional under saddle and h
as continued his
schooling with us, a
nd we have had so much fun with him!  He is even more wonderful that we ever
imagined!  Easy, easy, easy and quiet, but smart, tractable and willing with the best attitude.  He was the
trainer's favorite and got nothing but rave reviews, and we can see why!  He is currently green broke w/t/c
and goes easily in a rubber snaffle.  He's not overly sensitive and will be more of the kick-ride type.  His
dam is one of the most winning palominos in hunter breeding history and has a huge list of credits to her
name, and considering both parents are Devon winners, this boy has a big future ahead of him!  Claim to
Fame has won in the Working Hunters (4') as well and is ridden and handled by an older amateur.  We
can already see that fantastic brain coming through!  He is super friendly and great to handle, crossties,
loads and trailers easily, etc.  He is the love of the barn and a total ham when visitors come.  Honey is
Jessica's favorite to ride and also has an unbelievable disposition, so we're not surprised.  He is just
delightful and has the most wonderful disposition!  Cappy has been free jumped him over a few small
fences and he shows lots of potential!! Cap has been branded and registered with full pink papers with
the RPSI.  He received an 8.0 on type at his inspection at a foal!  He is quite a good size, and stands
a
lmost as an early 4 year old.  We expect that he'll mature between 16.2-3h.  He's a very unique
individual and you certainly won't see another like this!  He is tentatively offered for sale to a fantastic
home. :)  Price subject to increase with training and development.

Northern Lights ~  2006 16.0h reg. Thoroughbred m., grey

"Aurora" is a fancy, kind reg. Thoroughbred, 7 years old, and ~16.0 hands. Forget any pre-conceived
notions you may have about a "Thoroughbred mare" - I cannot say enough good things about this horse.
Not only is she a fantastic mover, forward but willing, obedient and quiet, but she is one of the sweetest,
most lovable horses I've ever met. She trail rides like a charm, she has been used in lessons, and she
jumps well. She is brave, honest, and just wants to please her rider. With her wonderful disposition, ample
ability and super attitude, she has tremendous potential for most any discipline. She would make a great
local show hunter, lower level dressage mount, Pony Club horse, foxhunter or eventer! Here's that special
one that you can do a bit of everything with and just have fun! She is plenty quiet and easy for an
amateur or junior rider to bring along. She is eligible Green as well. Aurora is wonderful around the barn,
has lovely manners and gets along easily in turnout. She ships like a pro, has no vices, is sound barefoot
and has no special needs. VERY conservatively priced, but expect an increase soon as she develops!
Aurora is located in training outside of Richmond, VA, and direct contact may be made with Breanna Rose
at 804-517-0722 or email rose.equestrian@gmail.com.  Video coming soon!
